"Values" is a short abstract animation about generational trauma, healing, and acceptance.
I created this animation to heal my own trauma regarding my mother, who struggles to accept that I am a lesbian. Through symbolic visuals, I explored the wounds in her past that shaped her destructive behavior. Walking through her timeline completely shifted my perspective: I moved from seeing her as a ""bad mother"" to understanding her as a deeply good person who is simply traumatized."
