The Inner Child is trapped inside the very video game interface it used to escape the distress of everyday life. Living within a body that feels inherently wrong and alienating. Using different forms of escapism is a smart strategy to hold on to life and hope. Nature and the digital interface provide a shelter that is keeping them safe and intact. Even after finally getting to safety, this fragment of identity is still haunting the old and hazy virtual memories.
